What is the Running PnL?

The Running PnL shows you on a chart form how much you were up or down during a single trade. For example: Let’s assume 9:30 AM – I Buy FB one share @ $1.

10:00 AM – The price goes up to $5 – That means I’m up $4 at this time.
11:00 AM – The price goes down to $0.5 and I exit out of my trade for a loss.

The Running PnL would tell you in a graph form:

  1. You were up $4 a share.
  2. Then you sold for a loss at $0.5 a share.
