Want to practise a past open again? Market Replay plays any trading day back candle by candle, and you decide the day, the start time and the speed.
- Click Market Replay in the left sidebar, then click Free Market Replay at the top right.
- Click the symbol name at the top of the chart to search for a symbol and pick it.
- At the top, click the date (for example August 13, 2026) and choose the day you want to replay.
- Click the time to set where the day starts. You can change the time zone, then set the hour and minutes and click Submit.
- Open the speed menu. Under Real-time choose 1x (Normal), 2x or 5x. Under Candle / sec choose 1-min, 5-min, 15-min, 1-hour or 4-hour candle / sec.
- Click Start Replay. The market unfolds candle by candle.
- Move your mouse to the top of the screen to bring back the replay bar. Click Pause to stop and Play to continue. Drag the timeline to jump to another time, and change the date, time or speed from the same bar.
- Click the X (Stop Replay) when you’re done.
- To jump back to the start of the day, click Go To and choose Start of New York Session (9:30 AM ET).
