How to Disable Automatic Option Expiration Orders

  1. Click on the “Settings” gear icon on the bottom left corner of the application.
  2. Under “Data & Trades,” select “Trades” from the left menu.
  3. Scroll down to the “Auto Expire Options Contracts” section.
  4. Turn off the “Auto Expire Options Contracts” toggle to disable automatic option expiration orders.

Optional addition: When this setting is enabled, you can also choose how expiring options are handled: “Expire Worthless” or “Expire In The Money.”
