Open % (Open Trade Percentage)

Definition
The percentage of your trades where you still hold an active position.

Formula
Open % = (Number of Open Trades / Total Number of Trades) * 100

Example
Let’s say you have the following trade status:

  • 25 Closed Trades (either profit or loss)
  • 5 Open Trades

Your Open % would be: (5 / 30) * 100 = 16.67%

Key Points

  • Active Positions: Shows the proportion of your trades that are currently active and could still result in profit or loss.

Considerations

  • Open Trades: Only trades where positions are still held are considered ‘open’.
