Why are my spot trades still open if they have already been closed?
For spot trades, it’s common for trades to remain open in your account statement. This occurs because exchanges utilize a calculation involving fees, commissions, and swap rates when executing trades. However, exchanges typically only disclose commissions, leaving out the fees and swap rates. This discrepancy in the information provided can lead to slight variations in quantities, making it appear as though the trade is still open.
This behavior is different for Futures contracts, where commissions, fees, and swap rates are not factored into the quantity calculations.
