How can I edit a custom filter I already saved?

Copy to clipboard

Your rule changed? Tweak the saved filter instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

  1. Open Custom Filter in the top bar and choose your saved filter. It appears as a chip with the filter’s name.
  2. Click the pencil (Edit filter) on the chip. The top bar turns into the filter editor.
  3. Click a rule, such as Match any of Assets, to change its values. Tick or untick items, and use Select All or Clear for a whole list. Switch between Match any of and Does not match any of if you need the opposite.
  4. To add a rule, click the + next to the last rule (or Add Filter for a new group), pick the field, then set its values.
  5. To remove a rule, click the trash icon on its chip.
  6. Between two rules or groups, click the And button to switch it to Or, and click it again to switch back.
  7. Click Save. The chip shows the updated filter and your stats use the new rules. Cancel leaves the filter as it was.

Tip: you can rename the filter in the Name box while you edit it.

Note: a saved custom filter replaces your other top-bar filters while it is active, and that includes the Date range. Saving a filter can therefore reset your date range, so pick it again from the Date chip afterwards.
