How can I find, rename or delete past Cypher conversations?

Copy to clipboard

Cypher keeps every conversation, so a good answer from last week is never lost. Here is how to find it again and keep your history tidy.

  1. Click Cypher in the left sidebar. Your past conversations are listed on the left, grouped by date (Today, Last 30 Days, then by month). Click Load more at the bottom to go further back.
  2. To search, click the Search box above the list and type a word from the conversation, such as a symbol. Cypher looks inside the questions and answers, and shows the matching conversations under Search results with a short snippet.
  3. Click a result to reopen the whole conversation. Click the x in the search box to bring back the full list.
  4. To rename a conversation, hover it, click the three dots that appear on its right, and choose Edit name. Type the new name and click Rename.
  5. To delete a conversation, open the same three dots menu and choose Delete. Confirm with Delete in the window that appears (Cancel keeps it). Deleting is permanent.
  6. In the Cypher panel that opens from Ask Cypher, click the clock icon (Past Conversations) at the top to see the same list, and click the x to go back to the chat.

Tip: click New Chat to start a fresh conversation any time. Your old ones stay in the list.
