Have trades open and want to see how they are doing without leaving the Dashboard? The Open Positions widget lists every open position with its running profit and loss.
- On the Dashboard, click the Add/Modify widgets icon in the top bar, open the Add Widget slot and add Open Positions. Click Apply.
- At the top of the widget, read Total Unrealized PnL. It is the sum of the open profit and loss of all the positions listed below. It shows green with an up arrow when you are ahead and red with a down arrow when you are behind.
- Under Open Positions, scan one row per position: the Symbol, a L (long) or S (short) tag, your Stop $ and Target $, and Unrl. PnL, the profit or loss so far. The stop and target columns are hidden on small phone screens.
- If you have more than five open positions, use the arrows next to the Open Positions heading to move to the next page.
- Click a symbol to open that trade’s detail page.
The widget shows your open positions across all your accounts, and the numbers update on their own while the market is open. If it says No open positions, you have nothing open right now. If it says Positions could not be loaded, refresh the page.
