Want to write how the whole day went, or start your trade note from a ready-made outline, without leaving the trade? Both live in the Notes tab.
- Open the trade from the Trades page (click its row) and click the Notes tab on the left.
- To start from a template, click the + at the right end of the note toolbar. The window lists Recommended templates (Daily Game Plan, Trade Recap, Intra-day Check-in) and your own under My Templates. Click one to preview it, then click Use This Template. If the note already has text, you are asked before it is replaced.
- To turn a note you like into a template, click Save as New Template under the note, name it and save. It then appears under My Templates.
- For the whole day, click Daily Journal below the trade note. It opens the note for this trade’s date, so it is the same note from every trade of that day. It has the same toolbar, the same template button and its own Add Image.
- Just type. Notes save on their own, and a Saved badge appears at the top of the section.
Only one of the two sections is open at a time: opening Daily Journal folds Trade Notes, and the other way round. Click a section header to switch.
