How to close an expired trade?

Expired options are automatically closed by the system two business days after the expiration date. This allows for the accurate settlement of the contract price. You can control this behavior under Settings → Data & Trades → Trades → “Auto Expire Options Contracts,” where you can choose to expire contracts as “Expire Worthless” or “Expire In The Money,” or disable auto-expiration entirely if you prefer to close these trades manually.

Please note that while the system can track expiration data provided by your broker, not all brokers transmit this information.
