What do the numbers on each day card in my journal mean?

Spot your best and worst days at a glance, before opening a single note. Each day card in your journal already tells you how the day went.

  1. Click Journal in the side navigation and stay on the Daily Notes tab.
  2. Read the top of each card: the date, the day’s profit or loss (green when positive, red when negative) and, when shown, its percent.
  3. Look at the small chart beside it: it is the day’s running P&L, showing how the day evolved. Hover it to see the value at a given moment.
  4. Read the metrics below: Commissions paid, number of Trades, MFE and MAE (the best and worst open profit reached during the day), Win % and Profit Factor (shown as P/F on narrow screens; the infinity sign means the day had no losing trades).
  5. Click a card to open that day’s note and trades.
